Supplement tracker app for iPhone

Log supplements, vitamins, and nootropics with per-supplement schedules, reminders, and adherence streaks. Updated April 2026.

The short answer

Bodydex on iPhone tracks supplements, vitamins, and nootropics with per-supplement schedules, local reminders, adherence streaks, and notes per dose. Stacks live in the same app as macros, weight, workouts, and peptide / GLP-1 protocols, so you can see whether the new pre-workout actually correlates with better sessions. All data on-device. Free; Premium ($9.99/mo or $79.99/yr) adds unlimited AI food scanning + the AI coach.

What a supplement tracker has to do

Per-supplement schedule

Different supplements run on different cadences — daily multivitamin, AM-only B-complex, post-workout creatine, with-fat fish oil. A real tracker handles per-supplement timing, not just a single 'morning bundle'.

Reminders that actually fire

Local notifications scheduled on-device fire reliably even with the app closed. Bodydex schedules per-supplement reminders so the morning stack doesn't get missed.

Stack view + adherence

Seeing the full stack in one place — and a 7-day or 30-day adherence heatmap per item — tells you which supplements you actually take consistently and which keep getting skipped.

Notes per dose

Capture how a new supplement makes you feel for the first 2–4 weeks. Side effects, perceived energy, sleep changes — easy to forget without notes attached to each entry.

Connection to weight, training, and macros

Supplements only matter in context. A tracker that lives in the same app as weight, workouts, and macros lets you see whether the new pre-workout actually correlates with better lifts.

On-device storage

Your supplement stack is sensitive personal data. Local-only storage on the iPhone is the safer default than uploading every pill to a vendor's cloud database.

How to build a stack in Bodydex

  1. 1. Open the Protocols tab

Tap the Protocols tab in the bottom bar, then tap + New Protocol.

  2. 2. Pick the supplement

Choose a known supplement (creatine, vitamin D3, omega-3, magnesium glycinate, etc.) or enter a custom name. Bodydex doesn't restrict by brand.

  3. 3. Set the dose and unit

Enter the dose and the unit you actually take (mg, mcg, IU, capsules, scoops).

  4. 4. Choose a schedule

Daily AM, daily PM, alternate-day, post-workout, or a custom cadence. Bodydex schedules local notifications.

  5. 5. Log each dose

Tap the supplement card and confirm. Add notes if anything stands out (energy, GI effects, sleep impact).

  6. 6. Review adherence

The Progress tab shows adherence streaks per supplement so you can see which items you actually take and which you skip.

FAQ

Is Bodydex a medical device or a supplement recommendation engine?

No. Bodydex is a tracking and journaling tool. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition. It does not recommend supplements. We don't sell supplements, recommend brands, or facilitate purchases.

Which supplements can I track?

Anything that can be described with a name, dose, unit, and schedule — vitamins (D3, B-complex, K2), minerals (magnesium, zinc, iron), performance supplements (creatine, beta-alanine, citrulline), nootropics, fish oil, probiotics, prescription medications. The data model is generic.

Can I track supplements alongside macros and workouts?

Yes. Bodydex was built so that supplement intake, food logs, weight, workouts, and peptide / GLP-1 doses all live in the same app. The Progress tab shows the timeline together so you can see correlations.

Will the app remind me to take supplements?

Yes. Per-supplement reminders fire as local notifications on your iPhone. They work even with the app closed.

Where is my supplement log stored?

On your iPhone, in a local SQLite database. There is no centralized Bodydex database of your supplement intake. iCloud backup, if you use it, is at the OS level and follows Apple's standard encryption posture.

Can the app warn about interactions?

No. Bodydex does not run an interactions database. For drug-drug, drug-supplement, or supplement-supplement interactions, consult your prescribing clinician or pharmacist. We don't replace that conversation.
